Have you ever had a sudden inspiration, a brainwave, a “bolt from the blue”, or a brilliant idea striking you like a light being switched on inside your head? We have all had them, but what did YOU do with your brilliant idea? Did you follow through with the idea, develop it and bring it to fruition?
Maybe you have lain awake, unable to sleep, with your mind “racing” through numerous possibilities. “What if I did this? What if I did that?” Maybe you initially thought the idea was so original or brilliant, and at last, it was the answer you have been looking for.
But still nothing came of that brilliant idea.
You are not alone. Every day millions, probably billions, of ideas pop into the minds of people all around the world. In reality though, only a small percentage of ideas are worth the time it took for the thought. Most ideas are fleeting “sparks” of inspiration that go nowhere, and get forgotten about, before they ever see the light of day.
Of the ideas that are worth pursuing, very few are followed through to become a worthwhile development in the market place.
We can all think of excuses why we failed to do something. The problem is these excuses stop most of us from achieving the freedom, wealth and success we desire.
If you want some help thinking up with clever, profitable ideas that could make you rich, then I am only to happy to help you with these three suggestions to get you started:
1. Find something (or a system) that already exists – one that is proven to work. Why reinvent the wheel when you can buy into something that is already a proven winner? Develop goals, plans and persistence to see the idea through.
2. Alternatively, you could invent or create something. Most inventions or creations are simply a variation on something that has already been invented or created. Again you will need to develop goals, plans and persistence to see the idea through.
3. Another option is to improve on something that already exists. We are all looking for things that are faster, smarter, easier, or smaller – we are all looking for innovation and solutions to problems. I say it again; you will need to develop goals, plans and persistence to see the idea through.
When you dare to dream, it is amazing what miracles you can achieve. The trouble is; most people never turn their brilliant ideas into reality.
